Our hot springs can be reserved exclusively for private events. Whether it’s a birthday, a wellness gathering, or just time with your closest friends, a full buyout gives you complete privacy in a truly unique setting.

Hot Springs

A full buyout of the hot springs guarantees a peaceful and private experience, just you, your guests, and the natural beauty of Hvammsvík.

Buyouts must be booked for a minimum of two hours and can be arranged:

  • Before opening hours

  • After closing hours

  • During opening hours starting at 10:30 AM

  • For the final two hours of the day

In addition, we also offer half-day and full-day buyout options for those who want to make the experience truly their own.

The hot springs can welcome up to 152 guests for private hire. Prices vary depending on the season and time chosen, so please fill out the form below with your preferred times and dates, and we’ll provide an estimated total.

    For smaller groups of 10 or more who are looking for a fun activity such as the hot springs please fill out the form below and we will get back to you. While this is not a private hot springs experience, it will still be a truly memorable one.

    The tidal pool is 35 °C / 95 °F however, it varies depending on the tides. Sometimes it disappears completely under the ocean

    The Upper Beach pool is 38 °C / 100 °F. You will find a elf stone in the middle of the hot spring. Rub the stone for good luck!

    Fishing is available at our pond for all guests staying at our houses. Equipment is provided in the houses. Please contact info@hvammsvik.com for any inquiries.

    Visit the elf rock also known as Steðji in Icelandic. It is a short 5 minute drive from Hvammsvik.
