Our facilities are best suited for groups of 10–40 people, with space for up to 152 guests in the hot springs.

The Barn

The Barn offers first-class facilities designed to bring teams together, whether for strategy sessions, workshops, or milestone celebrations. With flexible layouts and plenty of space, it’s an inspiring environment that supports both focused work and creative collaboration.

Beyond work and dining, the Barn features a recreation room with pool and table tennis tables, darts, board games, and even a grand piano, ideal for team bonding and relaxation. Depending on the season, your group can also enjoy outdoor activities such as, paddleboarding, ocean swimming, Wim Hof sessions, or hiking.

Dining

The Barn easily transforms into a warm and welcoming space for private lunches and dinners. Guests may bring their own food, order from Stormur Bistro, or have a private chef prepare a custom meal.

For larger Corporate Retreats we can recommend trusted chefs or third party caterers to create a dining experience tailored to your group. Guests may also select wine from our wine list or bring their own wine for a bottle fee.

Hvammsvík offers 12 thoughtfully designed houses, providing your team with both comfort and space in a truly unique setting.

Our four larger houses are ideal for groups that want to stay together under one roof, perfect for fostering connection and collaboration. The eight newly built Artist Lodges are intimate and stylish cabins designed for 1–2 people.

This transforms Hvammsvik into your own private resort, with exclusive access to the Barn House and the Temple for meetings, workshops, private dining, or team celebrations. With complete privacy and flexibility, your group can fully focus on both productivity and play.

Guests staying at the nature resort have access to our newly renovated gym, located directly beneath the Barn.

Paddle Boarding

Paddle boards are available during the summer and are included with your admission ticket, as long as the weather conditions permit. Please ask our staff for more details

Ocean Swimming

Want to try swimming in the ocean? Come join a short introduction to ocean swimming for beginners under the supervision of experienced ocean swimmers.

Atlas challenge

Stormur Bistro

After a soak in the hot springs, we recommend trying some delicious dishes made from nourishing ingredients inspired by our surroundings. Our menu is inspired by the Whale Fjord and features locally sourced ingredients.

Fishing

Fishing is available at our pond for all guests staying at our houses. Equipment is provided in the houses. Please contact info@hvammsvik.com for any inquiries.

Elf Rock

Visit the elf rock also known as Steðji in Icelandic. It is a short 5 minute drive from Hvammsvik.

Berry Picking

If you love walks and lying around in soft moss and grass, berry picking (or in Icelandic: Berjamór) is definitely a pastime for you. This is a seasonal activity.

Kayaking is available exclusively through our partnered kayaking tours, which are set up by the Atlantic Ocean. These events will be announced on our social channels and via email.
