OWS at Hvammsvík

You will take the same route as previous years. You will start at the Hvammsvík Hot Springs and a 1,2km circle around the islet in the bay.

The Hvammsvík estate has one of the best beaches for swimming in Iceland, being located inside a deep fjord that protects swimmers from excessive waves.

The ocean near Hvammsvík is perfect for open water swimming since it does not have strong currents. Ocean temperatures are expected to be around 10 degrees celcius.
